It's over...im done with you!

well im finally done with hedda gabler and i must say that it was a story that was a bit hard to follow and keep up with because there were so many subplots going on an it seemed as though it were a tv show and we were coming in the middle of the season..like u werent quite sure what happened in the past and ur trying to put the pieces together now...but other than the fact that it was hard to put everything together the context was interesting and funny in a weird way..lol..idk how to say it but it kinda reminded me of a mystery and people are in on a plan together leaving those select few out (hedda and lovborg) and then having them die leaving the rest of them happy with their successful plan...lol..thans kinda how i look at it but overall im kinda sad that the stories we read so far result in women dying..but yea thats it!

Peace Out

Thea and Jorge

well in act 4 we witness thea and jorge wanting to work together on the manuscript and fix it for the sake of lovborg...but it kinda made me think that thea had this evil master plan in her mind the whole time...so she could become closer to jorge and then slowly destruct his life...she symbolizes a strong smart women in society who quietly makes her moves and may seem dumb but is the smartest one of them all..well neways thea jumps to the gun right away and wants to work on the manuscript with jorge making him pay no attention to hedda and in my opinion thea does this knowing it would upset hedda...so ye those are my thoughts..

suspect one: Brack!

i am beginning to think that brack could be a good suspect for the death of eilert because you could argue that if he shot him he could run to hedda and make her under his control...i mean how else would someone know the exact details about where eilert was and where the gun was unless he saw him himself...you know wut i mean...well just a thought because this whole time brack often took away that power from hedda fore example when he took the pistol away from hedda and put it back in the case shows that brack has some control over hedda. so that adds to the hypothesis that brack wanted complete control over hedda and maybe had everything planned out already...which would somewhat explain the fact why his reaction at the end to hedda shooting herself was kinda weird..

Hedda and Adela

well i think that Hedda and Adela are two characters that share a lot in common. they both kill themselves at the end and in my opinion for many of the same reasons..for example they both are frustrated with their lives and look for someone to turn to but cant find anyone..which results in them killing themselves. hedda is upset with the fact that she cant obtain control over anyone in her life and she tells herself that there is no other way for her to live. adela on the other hand cant live with the fact that she will never have control of her family and that she wont get what she wants in life...i also think she realizes that no matter where she goes there will always be something in here way of being happy which is also what Hedda feels. they both are fed up with life and they are both so weak that the end up committing suicide.

what happen to filling out??

well remember in the beginning of the play where jorge was always talking about how hedda is filling out nicely and we assumed that she was pregnant..so how come we never hear about her being pregnant nemore throughout the act??? is she really pregnant or not?? what are you thoughts??

Random things that dont make sense to me

so basically i was thinking about Jorge aka George and how in class we said he was a guy in the past becasue of the way he writes and everything but then i was doing a little more critical thinking and i was thinking about how he always saws "Imagine" and "Just think" and it kinda made me think he was a lil futuristic guy because he always is looking to the future..does this make sense to anyone or is it just me thinking craziness...cuz why else would he say these words if he wasnt looking foward to getting to them..which would mean that he is looking foward to the future..

well let me know wut u think

all i wanna do is bang bang bang...Take Ya Money

So Hedda's pistols are obviously a very important symbol throughout the whole act and yesterday i was thinking very deeply (well trying to) and i can to the conclusion that her pistols are a symbol for the lack of power that Hedda has.. For example at the end of act two Hedda says at least she has her pistols which to her is power but really she has them because its the only way she does have power...she has no other way to have control over people but to intimidate them with her pistols. Then in the end of the play she gives up a pistol to Lovborg implying that now all her ability to control people in her life is gone and then finally when she kills herself with one of her pistols this shows that she didn't even have control over herself. so yea that's my deep thought...lol..pretty good hm? (get it..i was being George) ok I'm done
